SR 200,000 fine and 2-year prison for Violating Quarantine

Saudi Arabia’s interior ministry has announced that anyone who violates quarantine or exploiting isolation could face a fine of up to SR 200,000 or up to two years in prison or both.

According to the ministry, if the violation is repeated, the penalty imposed will be doubled.

Additionally, the Interior Ministry stated that if a non-Saudi commits the aforementioned violation, he will face deportation from the Kingdom and his entry will be permanently barred following the imposition of the penalty.
