All foreigners who come to Saudi Arabia on Umrah, visit and tourism visas must have insurance coverage against the risks of coronavirus infection.
Foreign pilgrims, visitors must include COVID-19 coverage in their insurance
The Saudi Central Bank and the Council of Cooperative Health Insurance (CCHI) announced Sunday updating the insurance policy format for Non-Saudis arriving in the Kingdom from abroad, for the purposes of tourism, visit and Umrah, through adding the covering against Coronavirus (COVID-19) infection’s risks.
The move aims to provide health care to individuals exposed to Covid-19 infection upon their arrival in the Kingdom from abroad.
The insurance covers the costs of treatment, costs of quarantine for infected individuals and emergency medical evacuation.
