CITC fined more than 8 Million on Telecom companies for violations in Saudi Saudi telecom regulator, the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC), imposed 8 million SAR of fines on a number of Saudi telecom operators.

Saudi Telecom Operators Fined SAR 8 Million For Violations
The fines were issued for a number of violations specially mentioned on the website of CITC, noting that it continues to follow up on telecommunications companies and is keen on promoting fair competition among various service providers. According to the report:
- Saudi Telecom Company (STC) fined SAR 3,310,000.
- Mobily – SAR 1,412,000
- Zain – SAR 2,137,000
- Lebara Mobile – SAR 218,000
- Virgin Mobile Saudi Arabia – SAR 200,000
- Other Violators SAR – 870,000
