Saudi Arabia Allowed Domestic Flights to Resume

Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) said that domestic flights through national carriers will be resume and it completed its operational preparations to lift the suspension of domestic flights since suspending local travel as part of measures to fight the spread of Covid-19.

Suspension lifted from Domestic Flights

The People of Saudi Arabia will be allowed to travel between cities thru Saudi airports from Sunday, 31st May (8 Shawwal 1441 AH), while taking all necessary precautions and health measures in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and relevant government agencies.

Domestic flights will be in a phased manner to include all domestic destinations, which includes 11 Kingdom’s airports, local airlines only will be allowed to operate from and to Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Madinah, Qassim, Tabuk, Hail, Jazan, Abha, Al-Baha and Najran.
