Saudi Arabia announces to refund Stamped Work Visa fee for Expats

Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development announced a mechanism to refund the work visa fee after canceling the Saudi visas stamped on the passports of foreigners in foreign countries.

The cancellation and refunding of the stamped work visas

This update states that any foreign worker who had their passports stamped with visa and didn’t travel due to the coronavirus outbreak. Their visa fee will be refunded after canceling the visa with a new mechanism. This is mostly related to the private sector as mentioned in the tweet below. Workers who were unable to travel due to travel suspension are part of this news. The refund will help all government and private companies where the fees were already paid in order to mitigate the effects of the preventive and precautionary measures taken to combat the pandemic.
