Saudi Arabia has been proposed as a location for the construction of a massive turtle-shaped yacht, dubbed Pangeos. If the project is constructed, it will become the biggest sea vessel ever built, essentially a massive floating city.

The $8 billion “terayacht” will be the largest floating structure ever built and it will be capable of holding 60,000 people.

Pangeos will effectively be a yacht-city with it measuring 610 meters at its widest point. That is one supersized turtle.

There will be villas, shops, and even a beach club on the turtle-shaped yacht. On each turtle foot of the one-of-a-kind floating city, there will be 19 villas and 64 apartments. A rooftop garden and even a mall will be available for your enjoyment and shopping.

The city will consist of nine bows each divided into various blocks beginning at the entrance of the port leading to the main area that will further extend into the terraced villas paving way to the private houses, buildings and rooftop terraces.

Additionally, it will include an upper turtle shell zone that will serve as a base for flying vehicles to land. Definitely, the future has arrived.

Given that we’re speaking about turtle superyacht, it is designed to sail around the world stop-free, but it has been proposed for Saudi. Additionally, this is a properly green turtle with green energy supplies. Pangeos will draw power from the ocean waves and solar panel roofs.

Do you feel ready to jump in? Thank goodness Pangeos isn’t moving slowly. The megaproject should be finished in eight years, according to estimates.
