The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia announced a new service to relieve patients by delivering medication to the home for free, “For your convenience, your medicine is free to your door, in all regions of the Kingdom, through the pharmaceutical mail service from the Ministry of Health.” tweeted Ministry.

It pointed out that the beneficiaries of this service include home care patients, disability patients, chronic disease patients, virtual clinic patients, immunodeficiency patients, cancer patients, psychiatric patients and elderly patients.

It is worth mentioning that MOH has recently signed an agreement with the Saudi Post to deliver medicines prescribed by MOH’s hospitals and healthcare centers to patients’ homes. The agreement aims to gradually cover about 284 hospitals and healthcare centers across the Kingdom, and to deliver the prescriptions to their homes.
