Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Court has called on all Muslims across the Kingdom to sight the crescent of the month of Shawwal crescent on the evening of Saturday, 29th Ramadan 1443, which is on 30th April 2022

Eid-ul Fitr Moon Sighting to seek on Saturday Evening
In a statement issued today, the Supreme Court called on whoever sights the crescent with naked eyes or through binoculars to report to the nearest court and register his testimony, or report to the nearest centre to help reach the nearest court.
In case of the crescent is sighted on Saturday evening, the first day of Eid Al-Fitr will be on 1st May 2022 (Sunday). In case the crescent is not sighted on Saturday evening, the Eid Al-Fitr first day will be on Monday, 2nd May 2022.
According to the astronomical calculations, this year Ramadan will be of 30 days in Saudi Arabia and Eid Al-Fitr will be celebrated on 2nd May 2022.
