Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) announced on 24-Feb-2021 the lifting of travel restrictions for Citizens who are married to non-Saudis.

Travel Restrictions Eased for Expats Married to Saudis
Saudi women married to expats to travel with their husbands or join their husbands who are oustide of Kingdom after presenting proof of marriage to officials at the departure points directly, as well as Saudis men married to expat women if they are residing outside the Kingdom due to work or other situtions that do not enable them to come to the Kingdom.

The Jawazat stated that if a Saudi citizen is unable to present documents that prove the spouse presence outside the Kingdom and inability to come to the Kingdom, citizen can apply for a travel permit through Absher electronic platform and attach all the required documents, to facilitate the procedures of obtaining a travel permit.
