The Saudi Ministry of Interior announced a 50% reduction in the payment of accumulated traffic violations.
This comes in implementation of the directives of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Saudi Arabia Announces 50% Discount on Traffic Fines
The Saudi Ministry of Interior announced the reduction which applies to fines issued before 18-April-2024 (9/10/1445 AH), to benefit from this reduction, all accumulated traffic fines must be settled within 6 months starting from 18-April-2024 to 18-Oct-2024.
The MOI highlighted that any traffic fine that occur after implementing this reduction (18-April-2024) will be dealt with in accordance with Article (75) of the Traffic Law. This article stipulates a 25% reduction for a single violation, with the possibility of imprisonment and enforcement procedures in the event of non-payment of fines after the objection period and the legally deadline date for payment.

The Ministry of Interior urged all road users to adhere to traffic regulations to ensure public safety and to avoid committing violations.
