King Fahd Causeway’s passport division has completed all preparations to receive passengers crossing the bridge linking Saudi Arabia and Bahrain ahead of the lifting of the travel ban on citizens and the re-opening of the land, sea, and airports on Monday, May 17, 2021, at 1 a.m., the Saudi Press Agency reported on Sunday.

Col. Duwaihi Al-Sahli, Director of King Fahd Causeway Passports, said ten new lanes have been added to the departure area, bringing the total to 27, in addition to the 36 lanes in the arrival area.
Travel requirements will be met automatically in coordination with the Ministry of Health to ensure compliance with all applicable requirements, the report said.
