Saudi Arabia is set to launch a major new trade initiative to push homegrown products into domestic and international markets.
Made in Saudi initiative to Launch 28 March 2021
Under the patronage of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and chairman of the Saudi Export Development Authority (Saudi Exports), will launch the “Made in Saudi” program on March 28.
The “Made in Saudi” program follows the Crown Prince’s keen interest in supporting and strengthening domestic products’ role in terms of quality and competitiveness at a regional and global level, the Saudi Press Agency reports.
“The logo will provide a unified identity for Saudi products and services, representing an official identity to promote Saudi products and services locally and internationally,” said a statement carried by SPA.
The “Made in Saudi” program’s launch will be through a virtual event, during which the logo of the “Made in Saudi” will be revealed.
