The Jawazat has implemented a must rule on Biometric Fingerprint registration for expatriates who are resident of Kingdom. Those who failed to register their families fingerprints, the services will be suspended for them and their dependents.
Kids 6 years Must have Fingerprint Registration
Saudi Expatriates whose children are of age 6 years or above, must enroll their kids biometric fingerprints thru any availablie location.
Before this new requirement, only expatriate dependents aged 16 and above were required to register.
Al-Shalhoub said this requirement was phased in starting November 2014 to allow women to exit and return, and change professions. It became mandatory in January 2015.
