How to obtain an Efada medical report?
First, choose a hospital or center approved by Efada authority to conduct the medical examination. Below are the requirements for a medical examination report “Efadha” to obtain a driver’s license.
- Sponsor ID#.
- Original Iqama.
- Original Driving License.
- 2 passport size photographs.
- Medical test fees = SR 150 + VAT (depend on medical centers).

Blood Samples
After the registration, the medical examiner will take your blood sample to test your blood group. Your blood group will be printed on your driving license.
Eye Test
After the blood sample is taken, you will be taken to another room for an eye examination where you will be asked to differentiate between green and red.
Furthermore, they will check if you can see properly with your glasses (if you wear them). If your eyesight is poor, you will get a Saudi driving license with registration code 3.
Final Checkup
The third and final stage of the driving license medical test is just going to the doctor who will ask you some general things to check if you are right.
Check the Efada Medical Report Online
There is no electronic platform to verify the result of the Efada medical report for the driving license.
However, once you pass the eye test and blood test, the same medical center staff updates your Efada medical report to the absher system online. You will notified with an SMS once medical report updated to the absher system.
After receiving the SMS, you are all set to apply for a driving license, renew a license or replace a license in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
