How to Get Efada Medical Report for Driving License 2024

Before you can obtain or renew your driver’s licence, you may be required to undergo a medical examination if you have a medical condition that could affect your ability to drive safely. This examination will evaluate your ability to drive and determine if special controls are necessary.

The medical examination will evaluate your vision, hearing, mobility, and overall health and can be done from one of the Efada approved hospital and clinic to apply for a driving license or renew a license in Saudi Arabia.

How to obtain an Efada medical report?

First, choose a hospital or center approved by Efada authority to conduct the medical examination. Below are the requirements for a medical examination report “Efadha” to obtain a driver’s license.

  1. Sponsor ID#.
  2. Original Iqama.
  3. Original Driving License.
  4. 2 passport size photographs.
  5. Medical test fees = SR 150 + VAT (depend on medical centers).

Blood Samples

After the registration, the medical examiner will take your blood sample to test your blood group. Your blood group will be printed on your driving license.

Eye Test

After the blood sample is taken, you will be taken to another room for an eye examination where you will be asked to differentiate between green and red.

Final Checkup

The third and final stage of the driving license medical test is just going to the doctor who will ask you some general things to check if you are right.

There is no electronic platform to verify the result of the Efada medical report for the driving license.

However, once you pass the eye test and blood test, the same medical center staff updates your Efada medical report to the absher system online. You will notified with an SMS once medical report updated to the absher system.

After receiving the SMS, you are all set to apply for a driving licenserenew a license or replace a license in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
