Ramadan is expected to begin on 23rd March in the year 2023 in Saudi Arabia astronomically, as per the Ade Al-Marzouq, The Member of the Arab union for astronomy and Space sciences.

Ramadan is Expected to Start in 2024 from 23rd March
Al-Marzouq also predicted that, Ramadan 2023 is going to last for 29 days, InshaAllah, Eid Al-Fitr in this year 2023 to be fall on Friday, 21st April 2023.
During the holy month Ramadan, Muslims abstain from food and drink during daylight hours as a form of spiritual discipline. The fast begins at dawn of each day and ends at sunset.

People are encouraged to pray and read the Quran throughout this holy month, increase charitable giving and practice self-reflection.

Ramadan month is divided into 3 parts, each of these parts has its own special significance and spiritual focus.
- The first 10 days – Rahmah (Mercy of Allah)
- The middle 10 days – Maghfirah (Forgiveness of Allah) and
- The last 10 days also known as al-Ayyaam al-Aakhirah – Nijat (Safety from the Hellfire).
