The Council of Ministers in Saudi Arabia approved the amendment on the period of stay for a single-entry visit visa to 3 months and the duration of the stay on transit visas has been extended to 96 hours without any fee.

Saudi Arabia extends validity of Single-Entry Visit Visa to 3 months for all the Purposes
This approval and changes in the structure of the visa system comes in a session held by the Council of Ministers, headed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh.
The Cabinet decision on the extension of the period of stay to 3 months (90 days) is applicable to the single entry of visit visas for all the purposes. Currently, single entry visit visas are valid for 30 days, after which the visitors need to extend the visa for another 30 days through the Absher of the host, while multiple entry visas are valid for 90 days.

As per the new amendments in the visa structure, the validity of the transit visa for the visit will be 3 months and the duration of the stay in the Kingdom on the Transit visa is extended to 96 days, free of charge.
Last month, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah announced the extension of Umrah visa to 3 months from 1 month for all the nationalities.
