The Central Bank of Saudi Arabia announced the working hours of banks and money transfer centers during the Ramadan and the Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha holidays.
Central Bank Working Hours for Banks and Remittance Centers in Ramadan
SAMA clarified that banks will operate from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. while remittance centers will run from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. during the month of Ramadan.
The central bank added that the Eid Al-Fitr holidays for banks and remittance centers will start at the end of work on Monday, May 10, 2021, and resume work on Monday, May 17, 2021. Eid al-Adha holiday will begin at the end of work on Thursday, July 15, 2021, and will resume service work on Sunday, July 25, 2021.
The Saudi central bank explained that the “SARIE” system’s operating hours during the holy month of Ramadan will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and that the Eid Al-Fitr holiday will begin at the end of work on May 11, 2021, and the system will resume service on May 16, 2021. Eid al-Adha holiday for the “SARIE” system will begin on July 18 and resume service on July 22, 2021.
