The authority also directed that a mechanism must be implemented to contact passengers whose health status does not meet requirements and inform them that their bookings must be canceled via text message. It emphasized the importance of safeguarding travelers’ rights when canceling reservations.
This is to implement precautionary and preventive measures for the Covid-19 pandemic that have been recommended by relevant committees at airports and their facilities.
