The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) confirmed that receiving the COVID-19 vaccine doses will be a mandatory condition for male and female employees of all sectors (public, private and non-profit) to attend workplaces.

No Vaccine means No attendance to workplace in Saudi
The Ministry stated that it would soon clarify the process for implementing this decision and the date for initiating the application, urging all sectors to encourage employees to begin procedures for obtaining the vaccine in order to return to work safely and healthfully.

It emphasised that this decision is part of a broader effort by the government’s various sectors to contain the coronavirus outbreak.
The Ministry stressed the importance of adhering to precautionary and preventive measures and following health instructions to ensure the safety of workers.
