The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development will start implementing the decision to localize the communications and information technology professions in private sector establishments, starting today, Sunday.

Communications and IT jobs will be nationalize at a rate of 25% for each group given that this decision will be applied to all the private companies that employ 5 or more workers within the specified professions, with the exception of small companies.
The Professions that covered by the Saudization included:
- Communications and Information Technology engineering jobs
- Application Development
- Programming and Analysis jobs
- Technical support jobs and
- Communications Technical jobs
The Ministry of Human Resources aims to provide 9,000 job opportunities in the field of Communications and Information Technology and to restore growth.
The Ministry set the salary for localizing the targeted professions of Communications and Information Technology jobs with 7,000 riyals for specialized professions and 5,000 for technical professions.
